| Psychologism in the novel by Abish Kekilbaev
“The End of the Legend” The article provides a psychological analysis of “The End of the Legend”, a novel by the classic of Kazakh literature A. Kekilbaev. The study examines the inner world and behavior of the characters of the given literary work. It describes people’s traditions and lifestyle, characteristic of that era, and cor- relating with the specificity and nature of the time and space categories. The work reveals the mood and thoughts of all the persons depicted in the novel, showing their stream of consciousness. Based on the use of various methods and techniques for studying the psychologism of an artwork existing in modern literary criticism, the author proves the harmonious use of artistic means in the writer’s work. The article indicates that the completeness of the idea embodiment, the perfection of the author’s artistic solution are achieved by skillfully describing the psychological state of the characters, the world around them, and the era in which they live. During the analysis, it is noted that the image of the ruler is complex. The article proves that the psychologism of a work of art as a field of science requiring interdisciplinary research is becoming the main object of research in the world and Kazakh literary criticism. At present, a new character of psychologism is put into different genres of literature. In literary criticism, innova- tive methods and techniques of psychological analysis are in the process of active development. In the course of the study, it is emphasized that in the Kazakh literature, A. Kekilbaev’s work is distinguished by the fact that it can serve as a vivid example of psychologism. Every detail, artistic solution in the work makes an aesthetic impression on the reader’s perception. The results of the study indicate that through the writer’s novel, the work of fiction and psychologism are inseparably united.
