(Virtual physiological experiment выполняется на английском языке для казахских групп).
Pancreatic lipase is a lipolytic enzyme that breaks down lipids into glycerol and fatty acids. The action of the enzyme is optimal at a temperature of 37-38ºС and a slightly alkaline medium. The activity of lipase is enhanced by bile.
Purpose of the work:
Demonstration of the influence of bile on the activity of pancreatic lipase. Pancreatic lipase can be adsorbed in glycocalyx. Lipase performs hydrolytic cleavage of triglycerides by interacting with another pancreatic enzyme — colipase, a small protein with a molecular weight of less than 11,000 daltons. Bile acids at high concentrations inhibit lipase activity in the absence of colipase, preventing its contact with triglycerides. If lipase is associated with colipase, then they can be adsorbed on the surface of water — triglyceride, and carry out their enzymatic action. In addition, phospholipids and bile cholesterol are transported to the water-fat surface or onto it with the help of the lipase — colipase complex.
Pancreatic lipase has a molecular weight of 48,000 units and an optimum catalytic activity of pH 8-9. In the catalytic center, pancreatic lipase contains a residue of histidine and serine. The catalytic activity of pancreatic lipase is significantly increased by colipase, also present in pancreatic juice.
Equipment: personal computer, program on virtual physiology of breathing «LuPraFi-Sim».
Progress of work: using the program, explore the role of bile in ensuring optimal pancreatic lipase activity.
The results: draw a diagram of the experiment and record the change in color.

Conclusion: explain the resulting changes..
when oil and bile interfere, then the color of the reactions turns out to be purple, and the oil interferes with lipase, then the color of the reactions will be pink.
