Methodological framework of andragogical education //Pedagogy and Psychology, №

The article examines the genesis and evolution of philosophical and methodological foundations
of andragogical education, the conceptual approaches of andragogical education; analyzes the
various theories and concepts of adult education. The essence of the following concepts are disclosed:
‘lifelong education’, ‘continuing education’, ‘adult education’, ‘adult learning’, ‘additional adult
education’. The analysis of methodological principles in foreign and domestic andragogy is
presented. The trends, common factors and principles of andragogical education in various social
and cultural contexts are considered. Within the framework of lifelong education, social, economic
and cultural prerequisites for the development of the adult education methodology are determined.
Priorities and subject field of the methodology of andragogical education are determined. The
article clarifies the methodological foundations of andragogical education in the context of the
third modernization stage in Kazakhstan.
