Conclusion. 1. The research work in formation of professional-oriented foreign language competence
based on the professional-oriented training of foreign languages in university educational activity
established that the applied organizational and educational conditions are effective and rational
for applying the chosen interactive methods and means for teaching foreign languages to non-
linguistic students;
2. The research efficiency is corroborated by the statistically significant and reliable dynamics of
a higher level of developed of professional-oriented foreign language competence of the students
in experimental group as compared with the students of the screening group and basic level.
Statistically significant and reliable dynamics of the higher level of formation of professionally-
oriented language competence of the experimental group students compared with students in the
control group and the baseline confirms the effectiveness of the performed work;
3. Quantitative and qualitative assessment of the results of application of the revealed
organizational and educational conditions established that they exceed the level of professionally-
oriented foreign language competence through such developed characteristics as: professionally-
oriented reading and speaking.
It should be highlighted that a great importance in the formation of a professionally oriented
foreign language competence was given to the selection of the content for tutorial material and the
mechanism of its use. Our observations prove that terms and concepts are better mastered if they
are understood a new topic during studying, and according to the basic idea or thought contained in
the text, one can clarify or choose the appropriate interpretation of an ambiguous term. The number
of new professional terms and concepts in the study of the topic for the lesson can comprise on
average 8-15, depending on their complexity and student’s level of training. Table 7 demonstrates
the levels of the professionally oriented foreign language competence developed at the final stage.
