The process of producing soda ash using the ammonia method has been known for two hundred years, this method still competes with alternative technologies. Its main stage, carbonization of an aqueous solution of sodium chloride saturated with ammonia (ammoniated brine), remains poorly understood due to complex physical and chemical processes. In the study of NaHCO3 deposits from carbonization columns for the production of soda ash for solubility in an ammoniated carbonized solution of sodium chloride. The experiment lasted for the time specified in the program and after a certain interval, a liquid sample was taken for analysis. After the end of the experiment, the solution was drained and subjected to chemical analysis. The soluble NaHCO3 content is mainly affected by the initial concentration of carbonate ions in the solution, as well as the temperature, the degree of exposure of which is weakened by an increase in the concentration of ammonia. The balance between sodium bicarbonate and ammoniated brine is well understood only when it corresponds to the last stages of this process . The experimental study of the solubility of sodium bicarbonate in an ammoniated, carbonized solution at the initial stages of carbonation is of a discontinuous nature.
