Annotation. This article provides information about the reclamation status of irrigated lands of the Turkestan region. These data were obtained as a result of the implementation of complex agromeliorative, state control works and surveys of irrigated lands with meliorative monitoring and evaluation in accordance with the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2021 and subprograms 255 and 108 "assessment and monitoring of the meliorative state of irrigated lands".
In particular, these are agro-reclamation surveys of irrigated land, water sampling for hydrogeological observations and chemical analyses for the level and salinity of ground water, water sampling for hydrological observations and chemical analyses for the discharge of waste water, water sampling for chemical analyses from sources of irrigated water, engineering soil-reclamation surveys of irrigated land( salt surveys), control of soil salinity on irrigated land.
As a result of the study, on the basis of the adopted criteria for assessing the ameliorative state of irrigated lands and in accordance with the irrigation and economic conditions, the reclamation state of irrigated lands was assessed: ameliorative state is good - 185.5 thousand hectares, ameliorative state is satisfactory - 166.6 thousand hectares, reclamation the condition is unsatisfactory - 222.3 thousand hectares.
