The article presents dangerous situations that arise during the extraction, use and transportation of raw materials in the oil and gas industry. The main goal of labor protection at oil and gas complexes is to create a safe working activity of employees, as well as to prevent diseases of personnel. In this regard, there is a system of accounting, analysis and evaluation of the state of labor protection, as well as labor safety management. The requirements of the occupational safety and health management system in the oil and gas industry meet the requirements of the standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The OHSAS standards, which cover the management of OH&S activities, are designed to inform the organization about the elements of an effective OH&S management system, the requirements for which can be integrated with other management requirements, and help organizations achieve their goals and economic goals in the field of OH&S. in general, in the course of the work, ways of assessing the state of labor protection by calculating indicators of industrial risk are proposed. This will improve the work on labor protection within the enterprise. As a result of the creation of a safety management system, an organization can ensure its attractiveness through an effective safety management system that meets international standards. It can reduce unplanned economic losses resulting from accidents, accidents and occupational diseases, improve its image and increase its competitiveness in the market.
