This article is devoted to the problem of the influence of the pedagogical load of teachers of higher
educational institutions on their scientific and innovative activities in the context of the implementation of
innovation policy. Based on the analysis of faculty activities at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University,
identified the relationship between the level of faculty teaching load and their research and innovation activities
and provided constructive recommendations for development in Kazakhstan.
