TRANSLINGUALISM AND REVITALIZATION OF CULTURE

Abstract. The main task of the article is an attempt to understand the relationship between such pro-
cesses as literary transligualism and cultural revitalization. The authors conclude that the national imagined
needs adequate ways of representation by the tools of the dominant language. As the result this language is
not only transforming, but also promoting the renewal of culture, “speaking” through it.
