of activities is carried out through the Internet in the framework of various programs. This makes many people
addicted to the Internet. In this regard, this article shows the number of Internet users by Internet addiction,
the global ranking of the state of Kazakhstan among countries. The concept of Internet addiction is given, the
concepts of the studied world psychologists, the main forms, types of addicts, cognitive-behavioral models of
pathological use of the Internet are shown. The results of a test survey conducted among college students on the
object of study were determined. 195 students took part in the survey and based on the survey, the number of
students were determined with Internet addiction, 82 students had several problems with addiction. According
to the second survey, psychological symptoms were identified that determine Internet addiction. As a result of
the research, a methodological program was developed aimed at preventing and eliminating students’ Internet
addiction. The structure of the program takes into account the causes of dependence on the Internet. In this
regard, training sessions were held on the prevention and elimination of addiction. The results of the study were
statistically explored.
