Color terms in language consciousness of the Yakut and Russian culture representatives (on the materials of the associative dictionaries) Studying of the linguistic consciousness of the different culture representatives
and examination of the universality and specificity of their world mapping has an
important role for an optimization of the intercultural communication. This article
educates the similarity and the difference in the linguistic consciousness of the Yakut
and Russian culture representatives at the world coloring and strategies of their
associative conduit. Color significations of khara/ cherniy (black), manan/ bieliy
(white), kyhyl/ krasniy (red), ot kueghe / zeleniy (green) are examinated contrastively
on the materials of the Yakut and Russian associative dictionaries.
