ENGLISH INVASION IN THE FUTURE

Резюме 

В этой статье рассматривается вопрос о будущем английского языка этого столетия. 

 

The world is changing so fast that English, perhaps the most worldly of languages, is struggling 

to keep up. Now it is the 3d widespread language after Chinese and Spanish and it is the language of in-

ternational communication. Englishis spoken by 1.5 billiard people in 62 countries and is studied by over 

1  billiard.  English  is  more  geographically  widespread  than  Chinese  and  Spanish  and  more  accep-table, 

that’s why it is expected to become dominating among other languages. But there are other lan-guages 

that  also  pretend  to  be  as  an  international  language.  Nowadays  the  problem  of  an  existence  of  English 

language becomes more and more actual. One thing is for sure: the English learner of the futu-re will be 

different from those of the past, will be looking for a different kind of English and will ex-pect to learn it 

in  ways  which  reflect the technology  and  lifestyles  of  the  21st  century.  What is the fu-ture  of  English? 

How will language learning change? Such questions worry a lot of people all over the world. Let’s try to 

research  this  question  more.I  want  to  give  some  opinion  of  usual  people  of  English  language’s 

development as an example. Residents from different countries through the Internet were asked question 

by  me  about  the  future  of  English  language,  if  English  language  will  become  universal  international 

language.

the world is not possible be-cause

can  be  Spanish,  because  there  are 

many countries are using Spanish. 

But  we  don't  know  what  will  be 

happening  in  futu-re,  however 

English  is  the  most  important 

language of the 21st century. Most 

people have their own jobs, and if 

you  learn  Eng-lish  it  would  be 

helpful

As we can see 50%  suppose that English will  become dominating language. The main reason is the 

successful  present  position  of  English  language  in  the  world.  One  of  the  comments:  ―For  today,  Eng-lish 

language  became  international  -  both  in  tourist  business,  and  in  a  science.  Besides,  there  were  in-dustrial 

branches  where  for  successful  career  the  knowledge  of  English  language  is  necessary.  For  ex-amples,  IT 

(information technology), satellite telecommunications. This process is irreversible; to be convinced is enough, 

for  example,  to  estimate  volumes  of  billions  the  terabyte,  saved  up  in  Internet  databases.  Further  it  will 

develop forward and only in the one way.‖ These words are proved by a sta-tistic of English language. English 

language  is  native  for  400  million  persons,  conceding  by  quantity,  but  not  by  a  distribution  area  only  to 

numerous  dialects  of  the  Chinese  language.More  than  700  mil-lion  persons  speak  English,  as  a  foreign 

language.From more than 2700 languages of the world Eng-lish language possesses the richest dictionary. The 

Oxford  dictionary  of  English  language  totals  about  500000  words,  and  about  a half-million  of  technical  and 

scientific  terms aren’t  considered  [6].Three  quarters of world  volume  of  letters and  telegrams are  written  in 

English. More than half of scientific and technical periodicals are published in English.More than 80 % of the 

information  on  computers  in  the  world  is  stored  in  English.English  language  is  an  international  language  of 

aircraft, navigation and Christianity.Five of the largest telebroadcasting companies in the world (CBS, NBC, 

ABC,  BBC  and  CBC)  are  broadcasted  in  English  for  hundreds  millions  people  worldwide.The  most 

widespread lan-guage in the Internet is English. The majority of sources of the information on the Internet are 

from the American origin, that’s why it’snot surprising that a World Wide Web’s native language is Eng-lish. 

Then let’s apply to the research of British Council, made in 2005. Half the world's population will be speaking 

or learning English by 2015, researchers say. Two billion people are expected to start lear-ning English within 

a decade and three billion will speak it, says a British Council estimate[3]. Sothe-re a lot of signs leading to the 

dominance of English language. Then 33.3% consider that English be-gin to regress. According their points of 

view English can’t spread all over the world because it is very big and some countries are too bad developed 

then other more progressive states. Also other langua-ges, variety of dialects and even native speakers change 

English  themselves  making  it  absolutely  unre-cognizable.  One  of  the  Britain  researchers,  journalist  David 

Graddol in his report ―The Future of Eng-lish‖ predicted, that ―…the boom (of English language) will be over 

by 2050 and the English-language teaching industry will have become a victim of its own success.‖ According 

to his investigates Englishlanguage students will be down from two billion to 500 million then. And as English 

spreads  across  the  globe,  more  people  will  become  bilingual,  even  multilingual  and  such  skills  are  highly 

prized in business. But Britain has not got the best reputation for learning other languages [1]. So we can also 

expect that in the future we will speak some language as second and not only English will be recogni-zed as 

international one. So consider 16.7% percent of interviewers. English language is the base of professional and 

personal  growth.  We  live  during  an  epoch  of  globalization,  and  knowledge  of  English  becomes  necessary 

practically  in  any  field  of  activity,  beginning  tourism,  trade  and  finishing  deeply  specific  specialties  (in  the 

firms cooperating with foreign). It is useful for the personal purposes: the knowledge of language considerably 

expands  a circle of the countries  to  which  you  can go.    English study develops not  only  memory, analytical 

thinking, but also an outlook. And still it seems to me that English is a quite good "platform" for studying of 

other foreign languages. And it will be still wonder-ful, if the quite good knowledge of language is combined 

with  professionalism in  any other  field  of ac-tivity.  We think English became language as  the standard. The 

base International language is English, the majority of competent inhabitants of our planet knows it now. In the 

most of large countries of the world it is either as the basic, or as 2nd state.  We think that if in an increasingly 

complex and chang-ing  world all people will  talk in  one language it  will be English. We tell it because it is 

impossible  to  stop  this  process.  After  all  in  many  countries  English  language  is  obligatory,  and  in  some 

countries it is simply welcomed, in my opinion, in the near future at first English gradually becomes language 

which will be known by everybody, and then when the countries and the people can break a barrier, English 

will become the main language, but it will be not fast. After that other languages will simply be forgotten, but 

people will  build and erect  the organizations for  restoration  of  old  languages, but will be already late. Other 

languages will be simply dissolved from our life.

шаралар  ҥдерісі,  оның  тек  экономикалық  саласын  ғана  қамтып  қана  қоймай,  сонымен  қатар 

ҽлеуметтік-гуманитарлық  салада  да  зор  ҿзгерістер  жасауда.  Қоғамдағы  білім  беру  жҥйесін 

реформалау – соның айқын айғағы. 

Қазіргі орта мектеп математика курсында комбинаторика элементтері жҽне ықтималдықтар 

теориясының элементтері арқылы теңдеулерді шешу қарастырылуда. 

Сонымен  қатар,  оқушылардың  комбинаторика  элементтері  арқылы  берілген  теңдеулер 

жҥйесін шешуге болатындығына кҿз жеткізуге болады.
