Time utility is the value added by having an item when it’s needed. This could happen in the organization, as in having all the materials and parts that are needed for manufacturing.
Time utility is created by providing easy availability of a good or service at the time when customers need or want it.

WHAT IS 4P?
The "four P's" of the marketing mix require that for a firm to be successful, any marketing effort must integrate the ideas of having the right product, at the right price, publicized with the promotion, and available in the right place. Logistics plays a critical role particularly in support of getting the product to the right place.
Product
Product refers to the set of utilities/characteristics that a customer receives as a result of a purchase.
The role of product in the marketing mix is one of the key components that makes the entire process of connecting with consumers and generating sales possible. Along with price, place, and promotion, the product provides the ultimate value to the customer and serves as the entire reason for the marketing effort.
Price is the amount of money that a customer pays for the product or service offering.
pricing is also a very important element in the 4 P's of marketing mix. This is the only element that generates revenue and supports other activities like product distribution, promotion and advertisement. Pricing is Flexible. Pricing is the only single variable that is flexible and can be changed within no time.
Place
Place is the key element of the marketing mix with which logistics interfaces directly. Place expenditures support the levels of customer service provided by the organization. This includes on-time delivery, high order fill rates, consistent transit times, and similar issues.
Customer service is an output of the logistics system. On the other hand, when the organization performs well on all the elements of the marketing mix, customer satisfaction occurs.
