This article discusses the problem of effective use of technology in eoinformatsionnyh studying geography. Also, in
the disclosed features of geographic information systems (GIS). The authors conclude that the use of geographic
information systems in the process of teaching geography forms the ability and willingness of the students to the use of
geographical knowledge and skills in their daily lives, allowing them to prepare for working with information in all
forms in the various spheres of life.
