The article is "The contribution of the Germans of Kazakhstan to the Kazakh language
development in the northern Kazakhstan" examines the contribution of the German population in
Kazakhstan to the development of the Kazakh language in northern Kazakhstan in the second half
of the 1980s. This was an opportunity to separately consider the relationship of the deported
peoples with the local population. Everyone knows that among all the deported peoples to
Kazakhstan, the Germans quickly mastered the Kazakh language, embraced Kazakh culture and
lived in close contact with the local population of the country. In the Soviet years, the Germans
lived compactly in the northern regions of the republic, such as Tselinograd and Kokchetav
regions. One of them, Ivan Scharf, is the General Director of the Tselinograd Poultry Production
Association, a Hero of Socialist Labor, and the founder of the ALZHIR political repression
museum. Being a graduate of the Kazakh school, Ivan Sharf one of the first to raise the issue of the
Kazakh language during the December event in Almaty in 1986, then opened the first Kazakh
school in the village of Malinovka, Tselinograd district, Akmola region. In the late 1980s, Kazakh
language in North Kazakhstan was sad state, there were a few Kazakh schools. Therefore, his act
was decisive, quite bold.
