The verb «to be» («to be» етістігі)«То be» (болу) етістігі - бастауыш пен баяндауышты байланыстыратын көмекші етістік. Қазақ тілінде «to be» (болу) етістігі осы шақта қолданылмайды, ал ағылшын тілінде ол сөйлем құрамында міндетті түрде қолданылуы тиіс. «То bе» етістігі - дара баяндауыш, пен қатар (Не is in the hospital. - Ол ауруханада.), күрделі баяндауыштың құрамы ретінде де қолданылады (I shall be at home tonight. - Мен бүгін үйде кешкісін боламын). Жай сөйлемнің болымды түрінде «to be» етістігі бастауыштан кейін қолданылады. It is a table. - Бұл үстел. Present Indefinite-Te «to be» етістігінің жіктелу түрлері: am, is, are. E.g. I am, you are, he (she, it) is, we (they) are. Past Indefinite-Te «to be» етістігінің жіктелу түрлері - жекеше түрде «was»; I (he, she, it) «was», көпше түрде were; we (you, they) were. «To be» етістігі бар сұраулы сөйлемдер Present жəне Past Indefinite-тe инверсия арқылы жасалады: баяндауыш бастауыштың алдына қойылады. «Yes», «no» яғни «иə,жоқ» деген жауап талап етіледі. Am I? Is he (she, it)? Are you (we, they)? Was I (he, she, it)? Were you (we, they)? Is he in the room? - Ол бөлмеде ме? Is he a student? - Ол студент пе? - Yes, he is. — Иə. To be етістігі бар болымсыз сөйлемдер Present жəне Past Indefinite-тe not демеулігі арқылы жасалады, not демеулігі етістіктен кейін келеді. I am not. Не is not. You were not. He is (was) not a student. - Ол студент емес. To be етістігі Continuous тобының Present жəне Past-тa қолданылады. I am reading. I was reading. To be етістігі Perfect Continuous түрлерінде қолданылмайды. To be етістігі бұйрық райда do not (don’t), т.б. көмегімен жасалады: Don’t be late. - Кешікпеңіз. To be етістігі Present Indefinite-тің болымды түрінде ауызекі тілде көбінесе мынадай қысқартулар қолданылады: I am = Pm [aim] we are = we’re [wia] He is = he’s [hi:z] you are = you’re [juo] She is = she’s [Si:z] they are = they’re [геіə] It is = it’s [its] Present Indefinite формасының болымсыз түрінде мынадай қысқартулар бар: I am not = I’m not He is not = he’s not немесе he isn’t [iznt] She is not = she’s not немесе she isn’t [iznt] It is not = it’s not немесе it isn’t [iznt] We are not = we’re not немесе we aren’t [a:nt] You are not = you’re not немесе you aren’t [a:nt] They are not = they’re not немесе they aren’t [a:nt] Past Indefnite-тің болымсыз түрінде мынадай қысқартулар бар: I (he, she, it) was not = I (he, she, it) wasn’t [waznt] We (you, they) were not = we (you, they) weren’t [wo:nt]. To be етістігі байланыстырушы етістіктің қызметін атқарады. 3.То be етістігі негізгі етістік, «болу» мағынасында қолданылады. 4.То be етістігі модаль етістіктің баламасы (синонимі) ретінде қолданылады. Т Е Х Т 1 I am a man (a pupil, a student, a doctor). Не is a man (a pupil, a student, a doctor). She is a pupil (a student, a doctor). It is a pen (a desk, a bag, a shelf, a table). Shara is a pupil. Bolat is a student. Am I a man? Yes, I am. Is she a pupil? No, she is not (isn’t). Is he a doctor? Yes, he is. Is it a pen? No, it isn't. Is Shara a student? Yes, she is. Is Bolat a pupil? No, he isn't. He is a student. Bolat is not a pupil. He is a student. My name is not Erken, my name is Bolat. Is his name Bolat? Yes, it is. Your name is Shara. Is your name Shara? No, it isn't. My name is Sara. Is your name Erken? No, it isn't. My name is Bolat. TEXT II It is a pen. The pen is black. This is a pen. The pen is long. The pen is on the table. This pen is on the table. This long pen is on the table. That is not a cap. That is a bag. The bag is big. That bag is not ON the shelf. That bag is on the table. This is a table and that is a desk. This is a cat and that is a dog. This pen is in the bag. That n is in the desk. This is Kurman. Kurman is not a pupil. He is a student. He is not a home. He is at the lesson. He is at the institute. His institute is in Karaganda. Is Kurman at the lesson? Yes, he is. He is at the lesson, he is not at home. He is at the institute. His institute is not in Alma-Ata, it is in Karaganda.
