| My family
My mother is a teacher of English. She knows three languages and she reads, writes and speaks them very well. She works at school and she likes her work very much. My father is a driver. He works from morning till late at night. He comes home at nine o’clock in the evening. I am ten years old. I am a pupil. I like going to school. I study well. (64 words) The farm Tom's farm is in the country. There is a farm house with flowers round the door and the windows. There a lot of animals on the farm. There are horses, cows, sheep, hens and pigs. (65 words) An English post-office Jane and John live in an old house in an English village post-office is in one room in their house and John works there. The people in the village buy stamps, envelopes and newspapers in Jane and John's house. The red postbox is on the front door. John And Jane are very happy in their house and they like it very much. My father is 53 and my mother is 6 years younger. My mother is a teacher. She works at school. She likes her profession very much. She is a kind woman with brown eyes and short brown hair. My father is a worker. His work is far from our home, that’s why he goes there by bus. He likes to play chess. In his free time he plays chess with his friends. But sometimes he goes to the chess club. (84 words) My Flat I live in a 5-storied block of flats in Yushno-Sakhalinsk. It's not a very picturesque place but we have a yard and a Kodak Express studio under the window.My flat is on the third floor. It's very comfortable and well planned. I have all modern conveniences, such as central heating, electricity, cold and hot running water and a telephone. There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony in it. The largest room in my flat is the living room. My family uses it as a sitting room. There is a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, a TV set and a VCR (video) in it. (93 words) Nurse Ainur is a nurse. She is a short, thin girl. Ainur is young. She is only twenty. She works in a hospital. She likes her work. She is working on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. She doesn’t work on Saturday and Sunday. She is free on these days. Ainur’s father, mother, and brother live and work on a state from. Ainur likes to spend the weekend at home.
