•  The attention line is usually written in between the salutation and the body 

of the letter. It may be written as attention of or as "att:", but should be always 

underlined. 

The attention line may contain only two words. For instance: "press attache", 

which will mean that the letter is for his concern. 

The subject line is also written between the salutation and the body of the 

letter. It may be worded as "Subject: Delay in delivery."
