PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL BASES OF METHODOLOGICAL SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM OF FORMATION OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS SAPAZHANOV YERSHAT, NURLYBAY SHYNDAULET Suleyman Demirel University The task of forming and developing the educational activities of schoolchildren is of
particular importance. It should be solved from the first days of children's stay in school, since it
is "educational activity that is leading in primary school age" and, therefore, the success of
further education of students will depend on the nature of its formation. The theory of
educational activity was developed in psychology by D. B. Elkonin, V. V. Davydov, A. K.
Markova, V. V. Repkin, E. I. Mashbits, and others. However, this theory has not yet received a
full methodological interpretation. In the methodology of primary education in mathematics, the
question of the need for a methodological solution to the problem of the formation of the
educational activity of schoolchildren is raised in the dissertation work of N. A. Yankovskaya,
who studied the problem of methodological support of the UD of primary school students by
means of teaching. No other methodological studies have been conducted in this direction.
The noted contradiction determines the choice of the chosen research topic and the
problems of identifying and constructing such content, methods, techniques and forms of
learning to solve text problems, through which both the ability to solve text problems and the
educational activity of younger schoolchildren would be effectively formed. The purpose of this
study is to develop a methodology for teaching primary school children to solve text problems,
which contributes to both the formation of educational activities and the ability to solve
problems. When developing such a methodology, we proceeded from the following principle : if
the structure, features of the formation and development of educational activities of younger
schoolchildren are taken into account in the process of learning to solve text problems, then
students can achieve a higher level of both the ability to solve problems and the formation of
educational activities. The purpose of the study is the activity of students in teaching them to
solve text problems. P r e d m e t o m research — the content and results of educational activities
of primary school students when teaching them to solve text problems. The problem, goal, and
hypothesis of the study determined its specific features. :
