Interest in the study of the Chinese language does not weaken with each passing year. This fact strongly requires
increasing attention to the quality of its teaching. This article discusses some of the issues associated with innovative
approaches to testing in Chinese. Particular attention is drawn to the problems of developing tests, differentiating them
according to the degree of difficulty. This paper investigates questions of wider user of foreign experience, including
the Chinese one.
