The Aim and tasks of the research done are:
- To find out the similarities between the conception by Baitursinov and main theoretical literary works of the beginning of XX century on one hand and modern theory of literature on the other hand; display the principles of correlation between theoretical and linguistic poetics demonstrating literary theoretical situation in the beginning of ХХ century;
- to define the methodology of A. Baitursinov related to the object of theory of poetics; reveal the common analogies or differences between theoretical conception by Baitursinov and formal school founded by V. Shklovskii, P. Jakobsen, B. Eihenbaum.
- to compare the terminology system of Baitursinov A.with the well recognized terminology of the theory of literature; differentiate the semantics of terminology of the "Theory of Literature" in the course of latest achievements of modern literary science.
Scientific novelty of the research reveals in the fact that this research represents one of the first attempts to study theoretical literary work by A. Baitursinov "Theory of Literature" where we tried to define the methodology of A. Baitursinov related to the object of theory of poetics and display the principles of correlation between theoretical and linguistic poetics;
Methodological foundations of the present dissertational research are represented in different methodological trends in literary criticism. During the research work the following methods were applied including diachronic, synchronic, analytical, historic, comparing, systematic and others.
The structure and the volume of dissertation were determined by the internal logics of organization and revelation of the researched problem. The present dissertational research consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusion, and bibliography.
The first chapter "Peculiarities of oral art" studies art and peculiarities of verbal art in general, display and analyses theoretical postulates of "Theory of Literature". According to Baitursinov's theory we defined a number of components taking a special place in the system of verbal art.
