The Role of ecology of Central Asia for Europe
After the declaration of independence
in 1991 Central Asian states faced with economic, political, social and
environmental problems. Among them ecological issues remained unresolved for a long time, which leads to an ag-
gravation of the ecological situation. Nowadays there are a number of ecological problems in Central Asia.
The article considers the need of providing
ecological security in Central Asia which is important for Europe as
well. The authors also considers the ways of its solution in Central Asia.
Key words: ecology, water resources, land, pollution, drought, environment.
