The purposes and aims of the research

There has been made an attempt to reveal the methodological natural character of the mistaken theory which was based on the ideological purposes and priorities of those times. The basic purpose of the research is the analytical study of the literary polemics of the 1920s and the degree of its influence upon the science of Kazakh literary criticism, its contribution into the development of Kazakh literature.

In order to achieve the assigned purposes we have put forward the following task: to analyze the history of the development and crisis of the literary polemics of the 1920s through the revelation of its imaginative property; the degree of the influence of articles and research works written in those times in the genre of literary criticism upon the general development of literature; the revelation of the negative influence of the ideological suppress upon the literary criticism and creative works of literary critics; the comparison of the achievements of the critical thought in the sphere of studying and evaluating the national literary heritage; the analysis of the methodological and theoretical issues in accordance with the peculiarities of the period under consideration through the demonstration of the genre images of the literary polemics of the 1920s; the definition of the importance and significance of the polemics on literature and ways of its development; the understanding of the influence of the personality of specific critics upon the development of the literary criticism as a whole though the realization of the important of the development of Magzhan studies of the 1920s, the polemics on the importance of literary heritage and the very image of Abai.
