Summary. Within the framework of psychology, many studies are devoted to the problem of health,
which are aimed at studying the essence and characteristics of this concept. Psychologists focus on
different levels of health: mental, psychological, and social. Regarding the category of personality, the
phenomenon of «psychological health» is studied, which, according To I. V. Dubrovina, refers to the
personality as a whole and is in close connection with the highest manifestations of the human spirit.
Despite the diversity of research, unresolved issues describes the components of psychological
health and allocation of structural elements, analysis of functional aspects of psychological health in
the context of an individual’s activity and its development in ontogenesis, the study of variability in
psychological health, the mobility of its structure, differentiation of invariant and changeable indicators
of psychological health of the individual.
