Abstract. The development of patriotism among students is one of the main directions of
education policy. Much attention is paid to this aspect. Created specialized organizations for
students (e.g., yunarmy as one of the directions of Russian movement of puples). Teaching a
foreign language gives the teacher ample opportunities for the education of citizenship,
patriotism, legal culture, high moral qualities of the individual. This contributes to the
communicative orientation of the subject, its appeal to the study of life, customs, traditions and,
above all, the language of another people.
