TO THE ISSUE OF THE FORMATION OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF JUNIOR SCHOOL CHILDREN

The article dealt with the actual problem of the formation of communicative competence of junior school
children. The author reveals the relevance of the methodological foundation and the experiment on formation of
communicative competence of primary school children. The essence is revealed and the scope of the term
―communicative competence‖ is dealt with. Qualitative criteria and levels of communication competence of junior
schoolchildren are provided. Time-tested system of work in the primary school on the formation of
communication skills is described.
