Annotation. This article discusses and reveals the essence of patriotic education of
youth, provides a list of forms and mechanisms through which public libraries carry out their
activities on historical and patriotic, military education, civil-patriotic, socio-patriotic education.
The authors also present a number of interactive activities that allow the younger generation to
learn the patriotic principles with great interest and consciousness.
