Abstract. This article is devoted to the issue of fostering tolerance among younger
generation by strengthening intercultural communication. The article provides definitions of key
concepts, namely, tolerance, intercultural communication and ethno-etiquette, as well as
recommendations that contribute to the development of a tolerant attitude to another culture.
Also, the necessity of development and strengthening intercultural communication in the form of
dialogue of cultures is highlighted.
