Abstract. The article deals with the concept of patriotism and the role of parental
education in its development in children. The emotionality and susceptibility of children to the
world around them, as well as the high importance of kindergarten, and, in particular, educators
in the formation of primary feelings of patriotism in preschool children are determined. Practical
classes and activities promoting Patriotic education of children and their parents are described.
