The article examines the processes of interaction of the Kazakh and Russian languages in modern Kazakh society in accordance with the language policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is noted that in Kazakhstan, the Russian language is still in demand and comprehensive support is provided to it. Confirmation of the above is that, at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.-Zh. K. Tokayev, 2023 was declared in the CIS countries the year of the Russian language, the language of interethnic communication are Russian and Kazakh languages. begun to use not only in everyday colloquial speech, but also in writing Kazakh words, phrases, so- called Turkisms /Kazakhisms/culturemes. Russian and Kazakh languages have become more active in such communicative situations, when Kazakhstanis celebrate joint national and state holidays, as well as congratulate each other during religious holidays, which was previously unusual for native speakers of the Russian language. We emphasize that recently the Internet has played an important role in popularizing the Kazakh language, the WhatsApp application, free applications for learning the Kazakh language, especially the Soyleu application, posts by Russian bloggers. All the facts given above certainly indicate that the processes of interaction between the Kazakh and Russian languages in modern Kazakh society are expanding and strengthening every year.
