Abstract.
This article examines the methodology of using comics as a tool for implementing
the principle of visibility in high school. According to the research, the work with comics is done in
stages, where each stage contributes to the development of students' communicative skills.
Various formats for working with comics in English lessons are presented to help students
discover their abilities, working in pairs, in groups and individually. The author of the article outlines
the main learning activities to be carried out when working with comic strips in order to support
pupils' collaborative work.
