Language is not just a means of communication, it is also an important source
for describing the cultural and historical information, worldview, lifestyle, tradition
and customs of an ethnic group. In determining the worldview of an ethic group color
name takes an important place. The article discusses linguocultural aspect of Chinese
language and its culture in name color. Lexical units denoting color, reflected
millennial cultural and historical experience of Chinese ethnicity, his georgraphical
conditions, socio-economic and psychosomatic characteristics.
