THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC SITUATION IN HUNGARY DURING THE TRANSITION FROM
TOTALITARIANISM TO DEMOCRACY
Annotation
The article examines the socio-economic and political situation of Hungary during the transition from
totalitarianism to democracy. Hungary, since 1949 there was a total elimination organs of direct democracy,
which was carried out in parallel with the victory of the democratic revolution in Hungary, with the establishment
of the dictatorship of the proletariat. In all the "floors" governing the country was secured party control over
public authorities, the army, Oct. promyshlennostyu.23 1956 in Budapest began the demonstration, whose
participants carried banners with slogans of the Soviet-Hungarian friendship. All slogans were heard more clearly
on the Elimination of socialism in Hungary. Hungary after the suppression of the 1956 uprising then another build
socialism almost 33 years.
