Формируемые компетенции:Предмет биотехнологии микроорганизмов формируется научно-технической компетенцией по направлению подготовки Общая биология, приобретению опыта в школьной, кружковой работе как объекта исследования микроорганизмов и вирусов, овладению методами их применения. Получают теоретические знания об особенностях строения, филогенетических связях и системном месте микроорганизмов, формируются компетенции в области теоретических основ применения в практической технологии.

The purpose of training: Receives information about the biotechnology of microorganisms and modern scientific discoveries of its development, as well as the scope of their application. Formation of students' knowledge about the development of the production of biotechnological products and its place on the world market in the branches of microbial biotechnology and the development of new achievements and directions.
Brief description: Studies methods of biotechnology of microorganisms and viruses, common features and diversity; methods of application in the production of effective nutritious protein substances and biological gas, biotechnical methods of air and wastewater treatment, the use of biological methods for the destruction of agricultural pests, in the production of medicinal products, in the destruction of waste materials.
Training results:Knowledge of the diversity of microorganisms, their place in wildlife, the main properties of microorganisms, features of their classification, ecology, role in nature and human life and methods of application in biotechnology.
