Machine-building improved steel
It is used mainly after thermal operation - improvement (training and high 
drawback at a temperature 500-600zs). 
Improved alloyed steel no more than 5% are characterized by the content of 
carbon of 0,3-0,5% and alloying elements. Their basic purpose - production of 
responsible details of the cars operated at influence of cyclic and shock loadings. 
Therefore they have to possess a high limit of fluidity, low sensitivity to 
concentration of tension, sufficient viscosity and plasticity. The demanded 
complex of office characteristics of the steel is provided with their improvement, 
existence of a through hardness penetration, fine-grained structure and 
prevention of holiday fragility. 
Chromic steel 30X, 40X, 50X apply to production of medium load details of 
cars and mechanisms, industrial equipment. 
Chromium-silicon manganese steel (chromansil) brands 30HGSA, 35HGSA 
differ a combination of good mechanical and technological properties. Weld 
well and stamped. 
Maraging high-resistance steel
This group treat in a complex alloyed medium-carbon steel after low drawback 
and thermo mechanical processing, and also maraging steel. 
Broad application received medium-carbon steel, strengthened by training and 
the low drawback, having structure of the released marten site. Durability such 
the steel is defined by the content in them of carbon and practically doesn't 
depend on alloying elements which enter for improvement of a hardness

penetration of steel, stability her ambassador of holiday. The alloying nickel in 
combination with other elements reduces sensitivity of details from these steel to 
cuts. 
Maraging steel - carbon-free (no more than 0,3% C) iron alloys with the 
nickel, alloyed by cobalt, molybdenum, the titan, aluminum, chrome. Steel of 
this group are perspective constructional materials. High mechanical properties 
of these steel are reached at the expense of aging of marten site, an alloying of 
firm solution and training on air at temperatures 800-860zs. 
Maraging steel is kept by high mechanical characteristics at low temperatures 
up to temperatures of the liquefied gases. Such became and are heatproof to 500-
700zs. Advantage of the steel of this class is high technological effectiveness 
of their processing. They have almost unlimited hardness penetration, well weld, 
are easily processed by pressure, cutting even in the tempered condition. 
Spring steel. 
Steel with high limits of elasticity and the endurance, being combined with 
their sufficient plasticity and viscosity; apply to production of elastic elements 
of the general appointment - springs, springs, shock-absorbers, etc. 
For ensuring demanded operational properties in steel enter not less than 0,5% 
of carbon, them subject to training and drawback on troostite. 
Elastic elements of a simple form produce from thermally processed by the 
steel. Large springs receive the coiling of annealed wire. 
Spring steel carry to a class of the pearlitic. The basic alloying elements such 
steel are silicon, manganese, chrome, vanadium, nickel. 
Siliceous steel 50C2, 55C2, 60C2 have a high limit of fluidity and are used for 
production of springs of cars, springs, etc. 
Superficial defects of products from such steel sharply reduce durability of 
springs. Therefore term of their service raise a superficial cold work.
