Modern approaches to moral and patriotic education of the yonger generation //Pedagogy

This article considers the modern approaches to the moral and patriotic education of the
younger generation in the light of the implementation of the program article of the President
N. Nazarbayev "Rukhanizhan’g’irou" – a look into the future. Modernization and innovative
development, the revision of values, attitudes towards life, rethinking and transformation in the
consciousness of society considers as a priority areas of modern life. The main tasks of modern
life have been identified - the disclosure of the abilities of each child, the education of a decent
and patriotic person, a person who is ready for life in a high-tech and competitive world. Where
one of the directions of modernization of public consciousness is the work on formation of the
sense of patriotism. The article also shows the general scientific, general pedagogical and specific
principles as well as the main components of Kazakhstan's patriotism. The researches of scientists
in the sphere of moral and patriotic education of the younger generation have been analyzed. They
are based on humanistic principles, contributing to the creation of a social and psychological
atmosphere of mutual trust, mutual cooperation, actualizing the positive motivational resources of
education and upbringing. It is concluded that the work on patriotic education should begin with
the study of methodological literature, which nowadays allows to approach the issues of patriotic
upbringing from different angles and allows to choose the most appropriate forms and methods
which are most corresponding to the specific conditions of work.
