Pedagogical significanceof ancient rituals associated with childbirth in the traditional
culture of Kazakhs

The article deals with the reflection of ancient religious beliefs in Kazakh children's folklore.
Ethnographic sources of children's
folklore of the Kazakh people, their connection with the
traditional outlook of Kazakhs and modern pedagogical methods
of upbringing and education
are given on specific examples. The educational functions and the content structure of the lullaby,
pestles, nursery rhymes, riddles, tongue-twisters are revealed. The author emphasizes that these
varieties of children's folklore are the fruit of popular pedagogy, which have been confirmed by the
life experience of almost all the peoples of the world and collected in bitterness for many years.
