EDUCATION IN THE USA Abstarct The changes constantly happening in modern economy all over the world are followed by changing inlabour market structure. Modern educational systems in any country have to face and adapt the situation in order to function successfully. The educational systems should change their structure and modernize content and training technologies and to build new relationship with the labour market as well. The problems of supplementary professional education forming in the USA are considered in the paper. The author analyzes the ways of education adapting experienced in the USA and the American models of suplementary professional education. The possibilities of using the US experience in modernizing the domestic vocational education and forming the system of additional professional education are explored. The necessity and importance of using the USA experience in the modernization of Kazakhstan professional education is underlined in the paper. Key words: global innovations, modernization, structural changes, supplementary education, competitiveness, education model. I ntroduction. Nowadays the countries all over the world have entered the era of cardinal changes and global innovations in various fields of economy, technology, culture, education, accompanied by the acceleration of all aspects of society development. The processes of public life globalization and internationalization taking place in modern conditions, the rapid change in the labor market entail major changes in the system of vocational education.
