They are in a way form of continuing education based on the relationship between educational institutions and employers. For example, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has developed a program of "continuous cooperative learning". Within the framework of this program, not only the educational institution, but also the company where the engineer-student works is responsible for the continued education during his professional activities. Additional professional training of practical engineers is carried out using modern teaching aids (interactive television, computer training programs, etc.) [4]. Conclusion. Summing up we should say that supplementary education could help people to solve lots of problems raising professional skill level, serving to transcend political, cultural and religious divides. Some youth and adults as well however may pursue additional education because of the lack of available jobs and they may require additional education and training to develop skills and find decent work. The analysis of the American experience in the organizing of APE programs is of special interest for Kazakhstan researchers in the field of education, since the US is in many respects very similar to our country: by the specifics of the regions, the scale of the territory, the diversity of nationalities and ethnic groups. Besides, it should be noted that any foreign experience allows assessing the development of our own educational system and shows the prospects for its reforming and modernizing.
