Abstract. Currently, knowing several languages is a necessity that allows a future specialist to expand in the space of the world, delve into the secrets of world-class science and demonstrate their abilities. Teaching in several languages is a time requirement, and its implementation is the responsibility of teachers.
This article examines the trend of applying the CLIL method, developed in the framework of the policy for the development of multilingualism in Europe at the end of the last century, in the teaching of special disciplines in higher education. Currently, the role of information and communication technologies in the teaching of special disciplines is increasing day by day. The formation of key competencies and skills of students is influenced by English lessons conducted by the CLIL (ContentLanguage Integrated Learning) method. The main feature of education in this method is that teaching in different conditions is carried out using the language, depending on the specified period of educational goals, with the lesson being conducted in two languages (state and foreign). Along with the formation of speech skills, the CLIL method requires a new approach from the teacher related to the conduct of the lesson. When the teacher submits the material of the topic during the lesson, when organizing educational work, when using various forms, it is necessary to pay attention to the level of creativity of the student and the features of individual activities. And this will undoubtedly increase the interest and motivation of the student to study a special discipline.
