Annotation.In this article, the author analyzes the phonological features of common pictorial words in the Kazakh and Mongolian languages. The analysis was made on the basis of scientific concepts and conclusions of linguists regarding the sound features of pictorial words. As well as imitatives in common Turkic languages. Language facts and the structure of language units are studied by means of analysis and comparison methods.
In general, the history of the origin of imitative words in the Turkic languages differs from very old ones in that they relate to indigenous phenomena with a more complex personal-semantic nature, a wide range of uses. Therefore, the appearance of imitative words in the language of any Turkic people is associated with the imitation and repetition in their own language of the actions of the ethnic group due to various phenomena of the surrounding dead-living nature and the echoes of various sounds. Therefore, scientists claim that in comparative studies in any Turkic language, there are many similarities in the formation of imitative words.
Based on this, the article determines the nature of the sound, comparing the common figurative features of the Kazakh-Mongolian languages.
