10.Educational seminars
Cross-disciplinary. Specialists of these disciplines corresponding professions and teachers can be invited to it. Between pupils tasks for preparation of messages on a subject are distributed. The method of a cross-disciplinary seminar allows to broaden horizons of children, accustoms to complex assessment of problems, to see intersubject communications.
Problem seminar. Before studying of the section of a rate the teacher suggests to discuss the problems connected with contents of this section, a subject. The day before children receive a task to select, formulate and explain problems. During the seminar in the conditions of a group discussion discussion of problems is carried out. The method of a problem seminar allows to reveal the level of knowledge of pupils in the field and to create resistant interest in the studied section of a training course.
Thematic. This type of a seminar prepares and carried out for the purpose of emphasis of attention on any hot topic or on the most important and its essential aspects. Before the seminar the pupil is given a task - to allocate the essential parties of a subject, or the teacher is able to do it itself in that case when they are at a loss, to trace their connection with practice of a public or labor activity. The thematic seminar deepens knowledge of children, orients them to active search of ways and methods of the solution of the touched issue.
Orientation. New aspects of the known subjects or methods of the solution of already delivered and studied problems, the materials published officially, decrees, directives, etc. become a subject of these seminars. The method of the oriented seminars helps to prepare for active and productive studying of new material, aspect or a problem.
System. Are carried out for deeper acquaintance to different problems to which has direct or indirect relation of the studied subject.
The method of system seminars moves apart limits of knowledge of pupils, doesn't allow to become isolated in a narrow circle of a subject or a training course, helps to find causes and effect relationships of the phenomena, attracts interest in studying of various parties of socioeconomic life.
2. Educational discussions.
They can be carried out:
- on materials of lectures;
- following the results of a practical training;
- on problems, prepositional pupils, or the teacher if they are at a loss;
- on events and the facts from practice of the studied field of activity;
- according to publications in a seal.
The method of an educational discussion improves and sets knowledge, increases amount of new information, develops abilities to argue, prove the opinion, the point of view and to listen to opinion of others.
