FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF AUDITORY SPEECH MEMORY IN OLDER
PRESCHOOL CHILDREN WITH GENERAL SPEECH UNDERDEVELOPMENT
Abstract
In this article, based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the problem of studying
and developing the auditory-speech memory of preschool children with general speech underdevelopment is
revealed. The results of studies on the qualitative uniqueness of the mnestic activity of children with general
speech underdevelopment are generalized. The importance of carrying out specially organized work on the
development of auditory speech memory in the system of correctional speech therapy work with children
with general speech underdevelopment is substantiated. The need to improve the selection system and the
forms of organizing diagnostic and correctional work to overcome the existing developmental deficiencies in
this category of children is emphasized.
