| New myth: content and structure

This article focuses on the functions of the ancient myth in the literature of Kazakhstan. In the
21st century, history, the concept of culture and personality are being reinterpreted in a new way,
interest in the unconscious and myth / new myth is renewed as an important trend in the literature
of contemporary authors. They reveal the deep aspects of being, in which there is a reception of a
stream of consciousness, mythology, and figurative thinking. In the narrative are attempts to
answer the eternal existential questions (life, love, death) facing a man at all times. Modern
Kazakhstani prose refers to eternal universals in order to reactivate deep-seated reactions of a
person seeking salvation from the horror of death, from being solitude, both in a separate human
and in a collective consciousness.
