About the use of Trigonometry in Solving Geometric tasks in main school Annotation The article describes the use of trigonometry in solving geometric tasks in the main
school within the updated content of education. Trigonometric functions play an important role
in mathematics. They are useful for describing the relationship between the sides and angles of
triangles. The relevance of this study lies in the fact that modern knowledge about the
application of trigonometry contributes to the consolidation of an approach to one of the most
important concepts of mathematics - the concept of a function linking the course of algebra and
geometry and at the UNT there are often problems in which trigonometry is often used. The
purpose of the work: to show the methods of application of trigonometry in solving geometric
problems in the basic school. The article shows how to teach how to analyze the condition of a
problem, and provides a solution to several geometric problems using trigonometry.
