| Conclusion. Eponymous terms as part of the language of science contribute to a deeper
understanding of man and his culture. The study of culture by analyzing linguistic facts is undoubtedly valuable practical and theoretical material in terms of expanding our knowledge of the reality around us. Thus, eponyms are the most important source of knowledge about those people who created science or history, and the current trend in modern linguistics to the study of the human factor allow us to consider the terms-eponyms in the light of the cognitive approach.
