Location: Aktobe city, Abulkhair Khan Avenue.
Description: An architectural sculpture consisting of a stepped trapezoidal pedestal. In the center, there is a five-pointed granite stele, 4 meters high. On the stele, there is a bust with its gaze directed towards the sky.
A memorial plaque "Cosmonaut Viktor Ivanovich Patsayev, Hero of the Soviet Union" is installed on the pedestal.
Viktor Ivanovich Patsayev was a Soviet cosmonaut, an engineer-researcher of the Soyuz-11 spacecraft, and a Hero of the Soviet Union. He was the first astronomer in the world to work beyond the Earth's atmosphere. He tragically perished during the decompression of the reentry vehicle during the landing of Soyuz-11.
