THE IMPORTANCE OF USING MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES
IN TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Abstract
Multimedia tools are an effective educational technology, but they should be based on the degree and
depth of their application in the educational process. The article presents the characteristics of multimedia
technologies, the advantages of their use in foreign language lessons. Various options for using multimedia
technologies in the process of teaching foreign languages are presented. In addition, the Internet is
considered as a multimedia resource. The effectiveness of using multimedia presentations is provided.
Analyzing the results of the research, the article clearly describes the effectiveness of using multimedia tools
in the process of teaching a foreign language.
