Thus, a practical study based on theoretical de
-
velopments allows confirming the correctness of tra
-
jectory. The paper substantiates that the realization 
of cross-curricular connections is one of the ways 
to improve the educational process and increase its 
efficiency. Therefore, by introducing the program 
of teaching physics in tandem with informatics, it is 
possible to increase the effectiveness of training and 
the quality of material mastering by future teachers 
of science. In addition, the work proved that the pro
-
gram makes it possible to expand and deepen the 
knowledge of students of physics and informatics. 
The introduction of the program makes it possible to 
increase the importance of the subjects and increase 
the motivation of students in higher educational in
-
stitutions. 
In addition, the results of the study, the main 
goals and objectives of the components of the edu
-
cational program for teaching physics in tandem 
with informatics in higher educational institutions 
were analyzed; the need for theoretical justification 
and practical development of the above program 
was identified. Based on the analysis of literary 
sources, as well as on the pedagogical experience, 
the general principles and criteria for the selection 
of educational material for educational program 
have been developed. The compact and fractional 
versions of the localization of the basic components 
of the educational program of physics in tandem 
with informatics in higher educational institutions, 
their positive and negative features are considered. 
The specific features of teaching methodology of the

course are revealed, the forms of organizing training 
in higher educational institution are proposed, and 
the features of knowledge testing and assessment 
of the level of assimilation of the course content 
are considered. It was found that by introducing an 
educational program of physics in tandem with in
-
formatics, expanding and deepening the knowledge 
of students about different scientific phenomenon. 
It is possible to increase the motivation of students 
and their interest and attention, to implement edu
-
cational tasks and develop research skills. The sys
-
tem of realization of cross-curricular connections is 
considered; the ways of integrating knowledge are 
proposed and the ways of introduction into the uni
-
versity practice of a complex subject – physics in 
tandem with informatics are outlined, which presup
-
poses the scientific approach. The effectiveness of 
the proposed trajectory of teaching physics in tan
-
dem with informatics in higher educational institu
-
tion has been experimentally proved. A promising 
area of further scientific research is the process of 
development, testing and implementation of a text
-
book of phisics and informatics for higher educa
-
tional institutions.
