ПОХОД АТТИЛЫ В ГАЛЛИЮ И ЕГО ПОСЛЕДСТВИЯ
Аннотация
The Great Migration of peoples in IV-VII centuries was a turning point in world history. It was started by the
Hun’s tribal alliance and their movement from the depths of Central Asia to Europe. The greatest territorial
expansion of the Hun Empire in the West was under the leadership of Attila. Attila was a great statesman who had
done great actions. He was a wise ruler, a skilled diplomat, and a fair judge. With good reason he should be
considered a prominent figure in the first millennium AD.
In this article, an attempt was made to study the main campaigns of Attila. At the center of our attention will be
the complex ups and downs of the relationship between the Hunnish state and the Western Roman Empire,
especially Attila’s campaign to Gaul.
Research methods and the proof require the use of rare written sources in Latin, Greek, scandinavian
languages. Data from archeology, ethnology, history and modern linguistics interdisciplinary research is
especially widely used.
